From our founder...
I’m a leader in practical AI education and adoption and the Founder of The AI Assembly™ — a movement born from a clear need: too many people, businesses, and organisations have felt overwhelmed and under-supported in understanding AI.
My goal is to make AI accessible in a grounded, real-world way — building shared understanding, confidence, and capability. This work is guided by AI The Right Way™, a principles-led approach that helps people understand what AI is, how it works, and how it’s reshaping our work, lives, and society. Because AI evolves quickly, The AI Assembly® offers an ongoing network — with events, shared resources, and community learning — so people can stay current, connected, and supported over time.
My perspective comes from years in business transformation, supporting Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and organisations to successfully introduce AI. That hands-on experience has given me a clear view of what people actually need when new technology arrives: practical guidance, safe learning environments, and a pathway from uncertainty to confident use. I translate this into learning that helps people engage with AI in an educated, informed way — and reduces digital overwhelm.
I’m focused on Aotearoa New Zealand’s unique opportunity to lead by uniting diverse people across communities and sectors. By fostering shared learning, I’m helping individuals and organisations upskill and consciously contribute to the responsible use of this technology. This collective, informed approach strengthens our future — and offers a model other diverse nations can build on.
For people, organisations, and communities — grounded in principles and real-world context.
The AI Assembly exists to help people and organisations build a shared understanding of artificial intelligence — grounded in principles, context, and real-world relevance.
We facilitate learning, events, and communities that bring together learners, professionals, leaders, and organisations to engage with AI in an informed and considered way. Our focus is not on chasing tools or trends, but on developing the foundations people need to use AI confidently and responsibly from the start.
Through our communities, events, and learning pathways — including AI The Right Way™, HerAIStory™, and Real-World AI — we create spaces for shared learning, practical application, and meaningful connection across sectors and roles.
Founded in Aotearoa New Zealand, The AI Assembly supports a growing, connected AI ecosystem with a global outlook — enabling people to learn together, apply AI thoughtfully, and contribute to shaping how AI is used in work, life, and community.
