Meet Annie Johnson –
Human‑Centred HR & AI Innovator
At The AI Assembly® we believe that responsible AI adoption demands more than cutting‑edge tools; it requires human‑centred leadership, clear ethics and courageous decision‑making. That’s why we’re proud to feature Annie Johnson, a seasoned HR practitioner and tech founder whose work aligns closely with our mission. Annie is co‑founder and Chief of Product at Humaneer, using her two decades of HR experience to build AI tools that protect what makes us human while helping us work smarter. She also founded The Honest Human consultancy and actively guides organisations into the future of work by leveraging their people and exploring AI ethically.
A bold, human‑first voice
Annie is known as a bold voice at the intersection of technology and humanity. She blends psychology, HR and real‑world tech experience to make AI feel human, not hype. Her mission is to reduce burnout, streamline processes and enable HR teams to focus on what truly matters. Backed by two decades of senior HR and executive roles and a background in psychology, Annie challenges the status quo and has a stubborn curiosity to create tools and communities that protect what makes us human while helping us work smarter.
A new collaboration – HerAIStory™ ‘Leading While Learning’ Workshops
The AI Assembly® is launching the HerAIStory™ “Leading While Learning” workshops – hands‑on, half‑day sessions designed to empower women and HR leaders to lead confidently in the age of AI. Our founder Karrina will lead the series, and we’ve invited Annie Johnson to join as a guest speaker. Together with Belinda Thomas, they’ll bring complementary expertise and perspectives to each session: Belinda’s adaptive leadership coaching, Annie’s human‑centred HR & AI insights, and Karrina’s AI business acumen.
Annie will draw on her experience as a seasoned HR practitioner and tech founder to help participants understand how AI reflects our values, why co‑design matters and how to redesign work to reduce burnout. You’ll get practical guidance on applying human‑centred principles in HR and leadership, learn how to co‑design AI tools with the people who use them, and discover ways to make HR more strategic and human.
The programme will also feature other inspiring women sharing their own experiences. Collectively, we’re growing HerAIStory into a richer, more diverse learning journey where AI serves people — not the other way around.
