Our Learning & Event Speaker Opportunities

HerAIStory™

HerAIStory™ is a community and event series designed to amplify women’s voices, experiences, and leadership in AI.

HerAIStory events create space for honest conversation, shared learning, and connection — recognising that people come to AI from different backgrounds, roles, and lived experience.

In-person HerAIStory events are typically delivered as a facilitated panel and include up to five speakers, alongside Karrina Mountfort, Founder of The AI Assembly, as facilitator.

Panels are intentionally diverse and often include:

  • a small business owner or employee applying AI in practice

  • a culture, ethics, or people specialist

  • a professional services expert offering applied guidance

  • a technology or AI provider

  • a young person bringing a future-focused perspective

HerAIStory exists to ensure learning about AI is inclusive, human-centred, and grounded in real experience, not just technical expertise.

Real-World AI™

Real-World AI™ focuses on moving from conversation to application.

These sessions are designed to help people understand how AI is actually being used across industries, organisations, and communities — and what it takes to move from an idea to implementation.

Real-World AI™ Live Labs

Live Labs feature specialists who actively use AI in their field and can clearly demonstrate:

  • how AI works in real-world scenarios

  • what implementation looks like in practice

  • how AI can support efficiency, innovation, and better decision-making

Live Labs are practical, applied, and designed to help participants see AI in action, not just hear about it.

Real-World AI™ Events

Real-World AI™ events build on Live Labs through in-person learning and discussion, bringing together speakers who can explore:

  • how ideas move toward production

  • organisational and process considerations

  • real challenges, lessons, and outcomes

These events help participants understand how to responsibly apply AI within their own work, business, or community context.

Online Speakers & Community Sessions

Alongside in-person experiences, The AI Assembly hosts online speakers and learning sessions for our broader community.

These sessions feature specialists across:

  • professions and industries

  • ethics, culture, governance, and systems

  • technical and non-technical AI domains

Speakers are invited and curated to ensure alignment with our mission and values, supporting shared understanding rather than hype.
