AI Skills Hub

Understanding AI and its impact on the future of people and work — and developing the core principles and capabilities needed to learn, adapt, and grow in an increasingly AI-powered world

Our mission

To build an equitable base layer of AI understanding so people across society can participate in AI conversations, decisions, and use — regardless of role, background, or technical ability. We focus on shared foundations first, helping people understand what AI is, why it matters, and how it is shaping work and life, before moving into deeper or more specialised areas.

AI Skills Hub — by The AI Assembly

The AI Skills Hub is where people develop a shared, equitable foundation of AI education and then explore how it applies to their work, interests, and context. Learning begins with common principles that everyone needs — understanding AI’s impact, responsibilities, and real-world implications. From there, people can go deeper into specific areas such as ethics, culture, strategy, innovation, or tools, based on what matters most to them. This ensures people are not left behind or excluded from AI simply because they are not technical.

Start with shared foundations

Build a baseline understanding of what AI is, how it works at a high level, and why it matters. This includes core concepts that everyone needs — regardless of role, age, or industry — such as how AI is used, what questions to ask, and what to pay attention to before applying it in real contexts. This is the equitable base layer of AI education.

Focus Areas That Matter to You

Once you have the foundations, you can explore deeper learning based on what’s relevant to you. Examples include: Ethics & responsibility Culture, people, and change Critical thinking & decision-making Strategy & innovation Privacy & data awareness Tooling & practical use You choose what to go deeper into — based on your work, interests, or goals.
