The HerAIStory™ stream is built on three core pillars that support, connect, and empower women to engage with Artificial Intelligence through shared principles, lived experience, and community — across Aotearoa New Zealand and abroad.
Confidence and connection in an evolving AI driven world
AI technology will continue to change. Tools, platforms, and models will come and go. HerAIStory™ exists to ensure women are not left behind by this pace of change, by grounding learning and participation in fundamental AI principles and responsible engagement that remain relevant over time. Through community, events, and guided learning, HerAIStory™ supports women to engage with AI confidently — now and into the future.

Focus:
Empowering women with a strong understanding of AI fundamentals and principles for responsible engagement — supported through ongoing learning experiences as technology continues to evolve.
This pillar is designed to ensure women are not engaging with AI in isolation or through one-off moments, but through continuous exposure, discussion, and application of foundational understanding.
Rather than focusing on transient tools, this pillar supports women to:
understand what AI is and is not
apply ethical and responsible judgement as technology changes
engage confidently in AI-related conversations and decision-making
recognise where and how foundational understanding applies across different contexts
How this shows up in practice:
Women engage with these fundamentals through a mix of:
in-person events and community gatherings
