📜 Terms & Conditions of Content Contributors Submission to The AI Assembly™
1. Acceptance of Terms & Jurisdiction
1.1 Agreement: By submitting content (“Contribution”) to The AI Assemblyâ„¢ (“The Publisher”), the Contributor agrees to be bound by these T&C and the guidelines in the Contributor’s Empowerment Guide.
1.2 Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand (Aotearoa).
2. Non-Compensation & Promotion
2.1 Non-Payment: The Contributor acknowledges that the Contribution is provided on a voluntary, non-paid basis. No financial compensation will be provided for the submission, acceptance, or publication.
2.2 Visibility: The Publisher agrees to credit the Contributor and may promote their professional visibility, provided the profile adheres to the Publisher’s “Sharing, Not Selling” ethos.
3. Intellectual Property (IP) & Licensing
3.1 Contributor’s Retention of Rights: The Contributor retains ownership of the copyright and all other IP rights in the original Contribution.
3.2 Grant of License: The Contributor grants The Publisher a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, and irrevocable license to reproduce, publish, adapt, modify (for formatting and clarity only), distribute, and display the Contribution across all current and future media formats.
3.3 Editing: The Publisher reserves the right to make non-substantive changes (e.g., grammar, formatting) to ensure consistency with the Publisher’s tone and the “AI The Right Wayâ„¢ Framework”.
4. Contributor Warranties and Indemnity
4.1 Originality: The Contributor warrants the Contribution is their original work and they have the full rights to grant the license.
4.2 Non-Infringement: The Contributor warrants the Contribution does not infringe upon any copyright or proprietary right of any third party.
4.3 Indemnification: The Contributor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Publisher against all claims, costs, losses, damages, and expenses arising from any breach of the warranties in this Clause.
5. Ethical & Tooling Disclosure
5.1 Commercial Disclosure: The Contributor must disclose any professional or financial relationship with a third-party vendor mentioned. Failure to disclose is a material breach of these T&C.
5.2 Tooling: The Contributor confirms that any specific tools mentioned are for educational purposes only and adhere to the guidelines on the Approved Tool List.
6. Publisher’s Rights & Disclaimers
6.1 Right to Decline/Withdraw: The Publisher reserves the sole and absolute right to decline to publish or to withdraw any published Contribution at any time, for any reason, without liability to the Contributor.
6.2 No Guarantee: The Publisher makes no guarantee that any Contribution submitted will be accepted, published, or remain published for any specific duration.
6.3 Limitation of Liability: The Publisher shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or costs incurred by the Contributor arising from the submission or publication process.
