As Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Humaneer, Annie is leading the charge in redefining AI’s role in HR. She understands the paradox of applying artificial intelligence to the most human-centric function in business and sees it not as a zero-sum game, but as an opportunity to elevate HR’s strategic impact.
Annie’s move into AI came after more than 20 years in the HR industry, where she saw firsthand how much time HR teams spend caught up in admin and process work. She could see the cost of that: less time with people, more burnout, and not enough space for the work that really matters. It sparked curiosity and a realisation that AI could be the opportunity HR needed to evolve, to remove the admin overload and free HR professionals to focus on creating the workplaces of the future. Humaneer now helps HR pros across ANZ adopt AI in practical, intentional, and safe ways.
